HEINRICH HOFFMANN (GERMAN, 1885-1957), BLACK & WHITE PHOTOGRAPHS, 25:Including 15 matte finish photos all with studio stamp and address "Presse-Illustrationen Heinrich Hoffmann, Berlin SW 68 Nachtdruck Verboten", ten of which are unique and five are duplicate, depicting Adolph Hitler with Third Reich officers, 3 1/4" x 4 1/2"; and 10 glossy finish photos, all with studio stamp and address "Copyright Presse-Illustrationen Heinrich Hoffmann Berlin SW 68, Kochstrasse 10, Fernruf: 19 65 06", one of which depicts Hitler (two hole punch along the side) the nine others depict Berlin ruins (one of which is a duplicate), 5" x 7 1/8". Plus 7 Berlin civilian casualty photos (not included in above count) also with Hoffmann studio stamp. Heinrich Hoffmann (German, 1885-1957), best known for his many published photographs of Adolph Hitler as his official photographer.

Overall condition appears to be good; 16 photos feature Adolph Hitler. The photos have been handled, are curling somewhat and (with exception of the two hole punch photo) are intact. And most glossy photos with typed press text label. Chs ***PREVIEW IS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY***
