some scrapes to canvas [ visible in photo]. Jw (Signature in lower right reads "Rembrandt". As viewed under UV light in the unopened frame: appears to blacklight clean although it turns green under UV light and a complete UV analysis is not possible; overall stable craquelure; heavily varnished; dents without punctures in the background on the left and the right; a few minor nicks and scratches to the paint; needs some cleaning and dusting; not lined or patched; period frame is very slightly nicked.
