ALBERT WEINERT, OIL ON CANVAS, 36" X 18", CHILDREN CLIMBING A CHERRY TREE: US 1863-1947:Signed lower right, "A. Weinert".

Nice looking painting really appears to have that 18th c. look to it. As viewed under UV light in the unopened frame: appears to generally blacklight clean, although there could be a small amount of overpainting in the UL (total overpainting would be just 1-2% if that is the case); appears to be somewhat skinned unless that is imbedded dirt; possibly could use a cleaning; canvas sagging a little; not lined or patched; original stretchers; original backing and gilt frame which is slightly chipped.
