D.s., manuscript on vellum, in Latin, 7 pp., full page coats of arms of Pope Innocent XIII and of the Holy Roman Empire, heading, first line of text and some names in gold, heading and initial decorated with red and blue flowers and foliage, first 3 pp. in gold borders, signed by Nicolaus de Michelangelis and others, some rubbing, especially to first p., and staining, book label of R.A.Green-Armytage, number stamp on endpaper, contemporary morocco, covers elaborately decorated in blind and gilt, rubbed, contents becoming loose,190 x 135 mm., Rome, 1722.

***Evidently a leader of the medical profession in Rome; chief doctor to the pope, head of the medical college, and 'Protomedicus Generalis'..
