number 335 of 460 copies signed by the artist, this George Harrap's copy with his bookplate and an original watercolour by Rackham on half-title, pictorial title, plates and illustrations by Arthur Rackham, 12 colour and mounted with captioned tissue guards, original pictorial parchment, gilt, t.e.g., others uncut (some unopened), some browning to spine but otherwise an outstanding association copy preserved in red morocco-backed drop-back box, 4to, 1935.

***The watercolour, signed by Rackham and dated '28 Nov. 1935', depicts a man seated at a table reading with a look of fright on his face and whilst being haunted by two ghoulish apparitions behind him. .
