Condition: Wrappers soiled, vertical center crease, early owner's signature and purlple inscription on the front wrapper, other wear. first edition, first issue. This pamphlet by Dickens was issued by St. Luke's Hospital in an effort to raise funds. The original essay by Dickens about the hospital first appeared in Household Words eight years prior. Scarce.
