Early, Mason, "snaky head", challenge grade black duck. Good, lightly worn, original paint with feather detailing and swirling visible. Original tail chip re-set and a very minor amount of neck filer replaced. A tight check runs from breast to tail. Retains remnants of two old stencils on bottom, "Challenge" and "U.S. Patent Office". 1500-2500
