Titled "Lady of the Camelias", this work was created in 1927. Looking back, Icart and the 1920's went together very well. His subjects and their pursuits were the embodiment of the "Art Deco" period that is said to have begun in 1925. The Wolfhounds in this image became icons of the decorative arts from that period. 17 x 21 oval in the original period 26 x 29 inch frame.
