Ritchie, Boston, the liquid-filled compass with 7 in. dia. dial, cardinal points in block lettering, fleur-de-lis at North, outer ring calibrated 0-90 in four quadrants, outer brass bezel stamped E. S. Ritchie Boston 25907, gimbal mounting and later walnut hinged box, lg. 11 1/2, ht. 9, dp. 11 1/2 in.
