The first of two in this auction, this rare self-framed tin sign depicts a working man about to take that first drink. His image with green coat and hat floats on a shaded yellow ground surrounded by the impression of a wood frame with gold beaded liner. Measures 20 x 22.5 inches. Maker marked low center: H. D. Beach Co Coshocton Ohio. Copyrighted M.K. Goetz Company, July 1903.
Condition reportVery good, somewhat misshapen at the left edge 3 o'clock position, extreme edge rim wear and discoloration, minor nicks and scratches on high part of outer frame, image field is good noting a few scattered minor scratches and the same number of small nicks. Shows very well.
