[Ephemera and Correspondence] Massive archive of vintage and contemporary magic ephemera, correspondence, memorabilia and associated materials. Gathered over the course of a lifetime of collecting by Walter Graham, this archive includes photographs, some signed and inscribed, of significant and lesser-known names in magic (Carl Rosini, Johnny Platt, Jay Palmer, Clarke "The Senator" Crandall, Harry Blackstone, Jr., etc.), autographs, brochures and publicity material (Dante, Milbourne Christopher, Dell O'Dell), letters (ALS and TLS, including examples from John Mulholland, Robert Lund, Jimmy Findlay, and many others), research files on various aspects of magic collecting and collectors (posters, auctions, displays of individual collections, etc. – some items original, others items photocopies), programs, postcards (over 50 examples, most contemporaty), stage money, tickets, throw-out cards and more. Included are items collected by Graham's mentor, Omaha magician Howard Huntington and other Midwestern magic collectors and performers. Over 1000 individual pieces included, neatly organized and categorized in file folders, in three large cartons. 1890s – 2000s. Condition generally good. Should be seen.
