finely textured, even purple-red (liver red) glaze, base with two blue concentric circles with six-character mark for Yongzheng (1723-1735) and of the period, 11 in., with information information from Hammer Galleries. Excellent condition, very minor 1/16 in. flake on foot ring, very minor scratches, glaze generally even with two thin areas at foot. Provenance: Purchased from Hammer Galleries, New York City, 1940s; originally in the collection of William Randolph Hearst; Collection of the Late T. Ben Williams; The Estate of the Late Georgette Chamberlain Williams.
