large central medallion with pendants on brick red field, corner work and medallion with white tracery, double-arched ends, Anatolia, 17th century, 7 ft. 1 in. x 10 ft. 6 in. Most of rug lacking pile, numerous patches, repairs and rewoven areas, reselvedged, one end with 1 in. of loss, other end with 3 in. of loss, both ends with fabric backing.
