Multi Color Gold Rush Style Cane-Late 19th Century-A stamped 14K handle with various colors of gold and 4 panels which include ships, cargo, musical instruments, bee hives, tools, steam tractors and much more, the handle is signed with the initials "H. S." on a piece of sheet music. The shaft has a hexagonal 4" section which is covered in mother of pearl and inked designs. The balance of the hardwood shaft has mother of pearl wrapped around 70% of the shaft and it has an ivory ferrule. Very rarely do we see a cane with this gold and shaft work.-H. 1 ¾" x 1 ¼", O.L. 36"-$12,000-$16,000
