S. Kay Young, Detroit based Artist, 3 Botanical photographic works, including 6 x 9" Silver Gelatin print of "Laelia Purpurata Alba Orchid", sepia toned, archival framed 15 1/4" x 18 1/2". Next is a 6 x 9" Silver Gelatin print "Salsify/Oyster Plant", sepia toned, archival framed, 14 x 17 1/2", also includes 6 x9" Silver Gelatin print of botanical leaves , sepia toned, archival framed, 13 x 16 1/4".Provenance: Estate of Thomas Wojtas, purchased directly from the Photographer. Brief Bio:S. Kay Young is a Native American Detroit-based Artist with a 30-year photographic career. Attended Center for Creative Studies, Detroit from 1976-1981. From 1979 through 89 worked in the Detroit Institute of Arts, photography department. Currently teaching at CCS, and OCC. 5 Solo exhibits including DIA in 1998.
