Includes original receipt from the artist for $1000, dated April 27, 2000. Note: Used as the cover image for the book "Portrait of a Photographer; Wendy Ewald". Provenance: Estate of Thomas Wojtas, purchased directly from the Artist. Brief Bio:Born 1951 in Detroit, American Photographer and Educator. Antioch College, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Taught photography in Canada, Kentucky, traveled on a Fulbright fellowship to India. Founder of Half Moon Photography Workshop in the east end of London. Awarded a MacArthur Fellowship in 1992, currently Senior Research Associate at the Center for Documentary Studies at Duke University. Published in numerous books.
