An important Philadelphia silver coffee pot, ca. 1780, bearing the touch of Joseph and Nathaniel Richardson with an elaborately engraved monogram for Mordecai and Hannah Lewis, the double bellied form with foliate ornament on spout and double scroll handle, the base with gadrooned band, the reverse bears an early 20th c. monogram of Doris E. Sheaffer, a direct descendent of Hannah and Mordecai, 38 ozt., 12 1/2'' h.
