It is, as so often with Chagall, crowded with his childhood memories, religion and the Russian revolution. Published by Painters as Witnesses of Their Time, Paris. Reference number 92 in 'Chagall's Posters - A Cataloque Raisonne', Sorlier, 1975. Image is 21.5 x 18.5 inches, paper is 30 x 20 inches. This is a printers proof before adding any text. Very rare.
