Rare 19th Century Russian 14k Gold Cigar Case

Very rare Russian dual slot 14k pink gold cigar case from 19th Century. The case opens with the help of a gold and cabochon sapphire set pin that acts as a lock without key; the sapphire is approx. 0.25 cts in total weight. Item specifics: 3 3/8" long; 1 3/4" wide; 3/4" thick; 92.5 grams in weight. The slots hold two tapered cigars of approx. 5/8"-11/16" of maximum circumference; length of cigar varies. Marked "56" for 14k gold, maker's mark, and inscribed "1916" and some other symbols. Excellent condition.
