PAIR WONDERFUL NODDERS-THURINGEN; LIKE MEISSEN

This is a pair of very unusual nodding pagodas by Thuringen which are as good as quality as Meissen. These nodding pagodas or nodders originated from the Meissen factory and were produced in very small quantities in other smaller factories such as Thuringen. They are extremely unusual and amusing as both their heads and hands go up and down and their tongues go in and out of their mouths. They were decorated in the Thuringen factory in the 19th century. The height of the pair is approximately 7.5 inches. The condition is excellent.
