MEISSEN HAND PAINTED PLAQUE

This is a Meissen plaque which is almost round. It is very fine 18th century hand painted porcelain. This beautiful and amazing object of art is intricately decorated. It is a little convex and makes us believe that it could be an inside cover of a Meissen box. But however since there is no work on the other side, we believe this to be a plaque. Marked with the Meissen blue crossed swords. Excellent condition. The height is 3 1/2 inches and the width is 3 1/8 inches.
