SET OF THREE ARC-SHAPED PENDANTS

three arcs have been cut from a single block rather than a thin disc, and they join together to form a ring. on one there is an incised line as if the cut had been started there in error, and each has a hole drilled from one side. They may have been used either to form a rign or to hang in a tier. Translucent light green jade with rusty dark brown areas.Shang or Western Zhou period, north-west China, 1500-1000 B.C.8 1/4/D, Length of individual pendants: 6 1/4, 6 1/2, 6 1/2/in.
