Shepard Hardware Co., designed by Peter Adams, patented 7/15/1890. Place coin on Jonah's head and press lever, the man tosses Jonah forward as if to throw him overboard and the whale opens his mouth. The coin slides off Jonah's head and into whale's mouth as Jonah stays in the boat; release the lever and the whale's mouth is set into an up and down motion that lasts for quite a few seconds.
