PHILLIP LLOYD POWELL Carved and painted entry door and surround to Powell's residence, route 202, New Hope, PA, mid- to late 1970s. (The overall shape of the door, along with the many different layers of carving, show the influence Powell's trips to India were to have on his designs, starting in the mid-'70s. The building has recently been demolished.) 11'10'' x 5'6 1/2'' x 1'6''
