Paul V. Ambrose and Drew J. Bauer present: This is the #1088W Passenger Set that Lionel made circa 1938-41. This 027 Gauge Set includes the #1664E Gunmetal Engine, but no Tender, two #1630 Blue/Silver Pullmans and the #1631 Observation Car. Our Opinion is that the Set is generally in Like New Minus Condition, very minor signs of use. The Original Set Box is in (9) Condition, minor wear. The Original Passenger Cars Boxes are in (9-) Condition, almost impossible to find better, and include two Original car wrappings. All Original in our Opinion.
