Most probable of the Tokugawa, 1600-1868, period. Clear hada, sugu hamon, with basic horimono. Leather bound tsuka with single menuki in bronze and gold. The kashiri, fuchi and kojiri are matching motif of bronze and gold. Two seppa. Black saya. Full Japanese polish. Nagasa or blade of 9.5 inches. Nakago of 3.25 inches. Good overall condition.
