One of a Kind Trophy Cup presented to Fatty Arbuckle for his nightclub. Arbuckle launched his 'Plantation Cafe', on August 2, 1928, in Culver City, CA. ( 11700 Block of Washington Blvd). In Its heyday the nightclub was the hangout of all of Hollywood's elite including Bebe Daniels, Marshall Neilan, Buster Keaton, Mary Pickford and Douglas Fairbanks, Charlie Chaplin, Tom Mix, Harry Langdon, and Ruth Roland. Arbuckle was banned from making Hollywood movies, but he would perform at his club weekly. This loving cup/Trophy was presented to the club on November 8th 1928. It is unclear if it was part of the decor of the club after that. The Plantation was closed during the Great Depression.
