Inez Walker (1911-1990). Graphite, colored pencil and marker on paper. Signed and dated, 1974 (very early). 23" w x 14.5"h. Frame is 31"w x 22"h. Excellent condition. Provenance: The Lynne Ingram Collection. Est. $1,000-2,000. Ship: $45. Born in in SC and orphaned at a young age. Married at age 13 and soon after a mother of four. Imprisoned at Beford Hills Correctional Facility for killing a man who abused her.
