Description
Burton Jesse Hendrick (1870-1949). Writer. He won the 1921 Pulitzer Prize for The Victory at Sea which he co-authored with William Sowden Sims, the 1923 Pulitzer Prize for The Life and Letters of Walter H. Page and again in 1929 for The Training of An American. ANS on a card. 5" x 3 1/4". July 30, 1928. Hendrick writes to "My Dear Mrs. Merritt; I thank you for your kind note & take great pleasure in meeting your request. Very sincerely yours, Burton J. Hendrick". Excellent.
