Rookwood: Lot 3 commercial beer mugs

A trio of commercial ware beer mugs: first stands 5 inches and was made for the Bavarian Brewing Co. in 1947 and was covered with a maroon high glaze with accents in gold and green. Fairly light crazing and a few glaze bubbles. Second stands 4 3/4 inches, cast in 1948 for the Falls City Brewery and covered with the Wine Madder glaze. No crazing. Third was made for Cincinnati's Wiedemann Brewing Co. and is 5 3/8 inches tall with metal lid. It features an eagle in black seated on a red W and was made in 1948. Light crazing with a grinding chip at the base. All are impressed with the Rookwood symbol and the appropriate date.
