Large Mat vase decorated by Jens Jensen in 1929 by lavishly encircling the vessel with a variety of the nightshade plant, in purple and green, and lining the vase in purple. Impressed with the Rookwood symbol, the date and shape 614 C and bearing Mr. Jensen's monogram in blue slip. No crazing but having a small area of tiny glaze bubbles where the slip is thicker. Height is 14 7/8 inches.
