Mahogany Glaze 9 1/2 inch vase decorated with two geese by Matt Daly in 1891. Impressed with the Rookwood symbol, which indicates the date, shape 562 and an R for red clay and incised "No 1" and with the artist's initials. As a bonus, there is a lot of goldstone effect present. The vase has been oversprayed, indicating restoration of some sort.
