Handsome set of large Rookwood elephant bookends done in a rich ocher over dark brown mat glazes in 1923. Marked with the company logo, the date and shape number 2444 C. Height 6 3/8 inches. There is a little crazing on the plinth of each. Great color and glaze along with an uncommon size.
