Substantial production vase encircled by a ring of poppies, cast in 1915 and covered with a fine, dark blue mat glaze, effectively applied so that the body shows through in places. Impressed with the Rookwood symbol, the date and shape 1710. There is very light crazing and some tiny, pinpoint glaze bubbles that are very unobtrusive. Height is 11 1/8 inches.
