Unusual Rookwood Porcelain harbor scene vase painted by Carl Schmidt in 1922. Everything about the vase is classic Schmidt except in this instance, the piece is finished with a blue tinted glaze. Marks include the Rookwood logo, the date, shape number 589 F and the impressed monogram of the artist. Height 7 5/8 inches. Uncrazed and very clean with a slight blue cast to the glaze.
