Interesting Vellum 8 inch vase which has been encircled with a design highly reminiscent of stencil work in black against a maroon ground and having a design of tooled shells around the shoulder, done by Elizabeth Lincoln in 1926. Impressed with the Rookwood symbol, the date, shape 419 and a triangular esoteric mark and incised with the artist's initials. There is no visible crazing and there is some minor roughness at the base.
