Standard Glaze 6 5/8 inch whiskey jug, decorated in 1894 by Bruce Horsfall, who painted three nicely detailed ears of corn on the vessel. Impressed with the Rookwood insignia, which provides the date, shape 747 C and a W to indicate white clay and incised with Mr. Horsfall's monogram. There is fine overall crazing and some scratches in the glaze. Great color and detail.
