Handsome production vase, cast in 1925 and covered with a deep maroon high glaze with black dripped from the rim. Impressed with the Rookwood logo, the date and shape 2824 D. No crazing and very clean. Excellent use of colors on a large form. Height is 12 1/2 inches.
