Standard Glaze 5 1/2 inch vase, decorated by Virginia Demarest in 1900 for a special person or occasion. Ms. Demarest decorated the vessel with violets and also incised the surface with the initials S R C and with the date. Impressed three times on the bottom with the Rookwood logo, which also indicates the date, and with the artist's monogram. There is fine overall crazing.
