Rookwood Standard glaze vase with nicely detailed irises painted in 1890 by Luella Perkins. Marks include the company logo and date, Special shape number S 877, impressed Y for yellow clay, incised L for light Standard glaze and the incised initials of the artist. Height 9 1/2 inches. The vase is 98% uncrazed but most of the foot has grinding chips.
