Rookwood Vellum vase, lotus, Wilcox

Large Vellum Glaze vase decorated in 1925 by Harriet Wilcox, who deployed lotus blossoms and lily pads around the vase, floating on blue water with maroon accents top and bottom. Impressed with the Rookwood symbol, the date and shape 1369 C and incised with a V to indicate Vellum Glaze and with the artist's initials. There is no crazing but there has been professional restoration, evidenced by the presence of overspray. Height is 11 1/2 inches.
