Handsome Standard Glaze vase, a Special shape with Light Standard glaze having nicely detailed nasturtium decoration done by Mary Nourse in 1898. Marks include the Rookwood logo and date, Special shape number S 1402, the incised initials of the artist and incised L for Light Standard glaze. Height 10 1/2 inches. Faint crazing and a minor scratch or two. Excellent art work.
