finely carved back and seat frame on carved and tapered legs, French, late 19th century, 34-1/2 x 19 x 17 in. Good condition with surface wear and losses to gilding and carved elements, upholstery badly stained and faded. Provenance: Estate of the Late Andrew Rowan Summers, Abingdon, Virginia.
