Louis XV carved mahogany [fauteuil,]

beech secondary, fitted with later colorful needlework upholstery, French, probably 18th century, 38-1/2 x 28 x 20-1/2 in. Good condition overall, scattered surface wear and finish variation, later seat blocking, minor repair at joint with one arm to rear stile, other minor cracks and repairs. Provenance: Property of a Charleston Lady.
