Empire style bronze-mounted armchair,

beech and other mixed woods, gilt brass or bronze mounts and paw feet, red silk upholstery, probably French, early 20th century, 28-1/2 x 25 x 20 in. Generally good condition with minor surface wear, upholstery worn. Provenance: Estate of the Late Dr. John Rison Jones, Jr., Huntsville, Alabama. All proceeds to benefit the Art Acquisition Fund, Huntsville Museum of Art.
