French porcelain portrait plate,

finely painted with partially dressed woman in her bedroom, turban on her head, back with red printed "Mme. La Duchesse d'Angouleme", retailer "P.L. Dagoty, R. Honore, a Paris", paper label, probably early 19th century, 9-1/4 in.; in black-painted shadowbox frame with circular gilt liner. Large repaired cracks, two large chips on rim (not visible in frame). Provenance: Property of a Charleston Lady.
