circular brass dial with five chimes, pendulum and two weights, case with paneled and beveled glass door on box-form base, works and case with maker's mark "VH", early 20th century construction, 84-1/2 x 20 x 10-3/4 in. Polishing losses to chapter ring, case refinished, some polish residue on brass elements, otherwise generally good condition with minor surface flaws.
