frame-and-panel construction, carved front, paneled sides and back, British, late 17th century, 27-1/2 x 52-1/2 x 23 in. Lid associated and currently not attached (lacking hinges), lacking interior till, front panel possibly reconfigured, top with several old holes. Provenance: Private Collection, Charlotte, North Carolina.
