mahogany and mahogany veneers with oak secondary, veneered skirt, finely carved legs on pad feet, probably Irish, mid 18th century, 34 x 41 x 22 in. Restored and possibly altered, top replaced, skirt interiors with scars from previous braces, feet with patches and repairs and possibly trimmed. Provenance: Estate of the Late Dr. John Rison Jones, Jr., Huntsville, Alabama. All proceeds to benefit the Art Acquisition Fund, Huntsville Museum of Art.
