games table, figured walnut with oak secondary, fold-over top with turret corners opening to a fitted playing surface with early baize lining, turned legs and pad feet, British, early 18th century, 29 x 32 x 16-1/4 in. (opens to 32-1/4 in.) Generally good condition, original hinges for concertina action, early baize lining probably not original, patches to two toes, some possible reveneering, other normal cracks, minor separations and veneer patches. Provenance: Estate of the Late Dr. John Rison Jones, Jr., Huntsville, Alabama. All proceeds to benefit the Art Acquisition Fund, Huntsville Museum of Art.
